Our partner is a well-established international manufacturing group with a strong global presence and a growing operation in Hungary. As part of their strategic expansion, they are establishing a new Shared Service Center (SSC) to streamline and standardize finance operations across Europe. This is a greenfield opportunity to lead the setup of a finance SSC, drive process transformation, and make a real strategic impact across the organization.


Tasks

  • Lead the setup, operation, and continuous improvement of the finance SSC (focus on AP/AR)
  • Design, implement, and optimize standardized processes, operating rules, SLAs, and KPIs
  • Build, develop, and coach a high-performing SSC team
  • Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring deadlines, quality, and performance targets are met
  • Support month-end and period-end closing processes
  • Act as key liaison with group finance and local finance teams; prepare regular reports (KPI, capacity, error rates)
  • Drive process transformation, digitalization, and system integration initiatives
  • Prepare for expansion of additional finance processes (e.g., GL, Treasury) and implement best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 5–10 years of management experience in SSC or finance operations
  • Proven experience in standardizing, optimizing, and transforming AP/AR processes
  • Strong project management background (SSC setup, process development, system implementation)
  • ERP knowledge (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics preferred)
  • Fluent English (active use)
