Orienta Hungary Head of Operations & Financial Advisory Poslat

The Head of Operations & Financial Advisory is responsible for the operational leadership of the company, ensuring effective coordination across all service lines, with a strong focus on accounting, financial control, and advisory quality. The role also includes continuous improvement of processes and service delivery standards across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall operational management of the company's core functions
• Coordination of internal service lines, including:
  (i) legal and compliance functions
  (ii) finance, accounting, and reporting (including oversight of external accounting providers)
  (iii) advisory services (financial, tax-related, and structuring support)
• Strong focus on accounting supervision, financial control, and quality assurance of reporting processes
• Review and interpretation of financial statements and reports prepared for managed asset structures
• Preparation of recommendations for trustee-level decisions based on financial and operational analysis
• Management and coordination of external accounting firms and auditors
• Development and standardization of accounting and reporting processes across asset structures
• Participation in the financial and operational structuring of trust agreements
• Ensuring regulatory compliance in cooperation with legal and compliance teams
• Operational process optimization and efficiency improvement across all service lines
• Support of advisory activities related to asset structuring, financial planning, and reporting frameworks
• Internal and external stakeholder management, ensuring smooth cross-functional collaboration

Requirements

• University degree in Economics or Finance (Master's level or equivalent qualification required by law)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, financial controlling, audit, or advisory roles, ideally combined with operational management experience
• Strong understanding of accounting systems, financial reporting, and control environments
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with a process-oriented mindset
• Fluent business-level English (additional languages are an advantage)
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities

Advantages

• Experience in trust structures, family office environments, or wealth management services
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (AML, FATCA, GDPR, trust legislation)
• Background in audit, financial advisory, or accounting firm environments
• Experience managing external service providers and complex reporting structures
